I’m Going To Stitches West In Santa Clara, CA. ! February 19, 2012

It never ceases to amaze me. Here I am in the peace and serenity of the mountains of Costa Rica, and the second I get back home to California, BAM! I am off to Stitches West in Santa Clara to help out in the Newton’s Knits booth. I will be demonstrating on the LK150 machine there, plus showing off some of my sample garments that were done from my many patterns.
And then there will be the walking around time inbetween. I haven’t been to a Stitches yet, so it should be fascinating. I have worked to perfect these half-glove things which I am calling “Wristlets”. They are hand-knit. They keep your wrist and hand warm while allowing free movement of your fingers. Here’s a couple of pictures:

Now that I have the pattern perfected, I am going to knit some in luscious Mink & Cashmere yarn, probably some Yak & Merino, and also, I will try to find my Opossum fur yarn. These I will sell at my craft shows along with matching headbands. I hope I can part with them as they are really cozy!!
